Introduction: Power App Pages is one of the new add-ins in the Power Platform product bundle announced by Microsoft in MS Build 2022. It is an extension of the extension of existing product Power App portal which has been around for a couple of years managed by Microsoft. Many businesses use Power App Portal or MS Portal to manage external stakeholders i.e., Customers or Audiences according to business. Power App Pages is like SharePoint public site where businesses were able to manage internal data and share it with external entities.

In this blog, we will look at how to set up the Power App Pages. Currently, Power App Pages is under preview so there many features and details of licenses will be available after GA of Product.

Step 1: As Power App Pages is in preview you can create a trial environment so that you review the product for your business requirement. Navigate to https://powerpages.microsoft.com/en-us/ and Click on Sign.

You can be re-directed to https://make.powerpages.microsoft.com/ with a logged-in Environment. If you don’t have any environment in further steps, you will be asked to create one as Power App Pages required Environment to complete the setup.

Please select the preferred environment in which you want to set up the Power App pages. I was having an existing environment due to which you can see the Environment in the top navigation of the browser screen.

Step 2: Click on the “Get started” button to proceed with setup a new Site for Power App Pages. You can skip the template selection as the options part of the configuration. Click on Next.

Step 3: Now, you need to select the environment. based on your preference you can proceed to create the new Environment, or you can select the existing environment.

Once you select the environment and click on the Done button it will check the permission for the environment. It might take mins to deploy the new Power App Page portal on your environment.

Once the configuration is completed your new site will be started to configure and it might take up to 15–20 minutes to finish. You can refer to the below screenshot Power App Page is set up but the site is getting ready.

If you navigate to the public URL of your Power app pages during the setup you will see the below screen.

Step 4: After Power Pages, configuration and setup are completed you can click on the Edit button it will redirect to Power Page Design Studio. It is like SharePoint Site Design Studio and Power App portal Design Studio

Step 5: Preview the created Power App Page site. Click on the Preview button and Select Desktop preview.

This is how we set up the Power App pages and start experimenting with the new feature. You can connect your Dynamics 365 CRM and set up your own personal / business website.

Hope this helps!!
